The music was blasting at Club Paradise. It was packed even for a Sunday night and Beth could not remember when she’d had so much fun. She used to go dancing all of the time. It used to be something she did at least once or twice a week to blow off steam. There was something about the music that spoke to her more deeply than it did to other people. As soon as she heard the music blaring, she wanted to move her body to it and become one with it.

The second her feet hit the floor she felt like she had been reacquainted with a great old friend that she had been away from for far too long. The beat and the energy just consumed her and she allowed it to take her wherever it wanted. She closed her eyes and let the rhythm and the sounds swallow her whole.

Doug felt it too as he pulled her close to his chest from behind. His hot breath was warm and sweet as he rained soft kisses on her neck, moving up and down slowly, each kiss pausing over the skin as the lips pulled back off of her creating a sweet after kiss. The goose bumps rolled all over her body standing up, preparing her body for the pleasure that might soon follow.

Doug’s strong, masculine hands slid over her chest and her stomach. She didn’t care that they were in the middle of a crowded dance floor and that some of what they were doing might be seen as inappropriate in a public place.

Beth spun around to face Doug and his lips instantly reached for hers. The first real kiss between the two of them felt epic. It was sweet, rough, deep, intense, and romantic all rolled into one simple gesture.

As Doug pulled back from her, he looked her hard in the eye before breaking into a big smile. Beth did the same as he came in for another kiss. Beth pulled back as she wrapped her arms around Doug’s broad chest and back. Doug seemed surprised by this, but she had to leave him wanting something.

Beth was an old fashioned girl who liked to take things slow. It was true that things had just gotten heated and had quickly progressed faster than she wanted them too. She smiled at Doug romantically and waved her finger no as he tried to lean in for another kiss.

He laughed as he relaxed and pulled back. She expected him to be embarrassed, but he just seemed to laugh the whole thing off.

“We aren’t in any hurry are we?” Beth asked.

“None at all,” Doug replied as he pulled her closer and moved his body in sync with hers and the music.

Beth’s mind began to trip out a bit when she thought of the events of the past week and how it had come to this. She had gone from the most traumatic event in her life to what might have been the most amazing in a span of a week.
